Will co-ops and renters get the housing strategy we desperately need?

The draft housing strategy is out for consultation and we have made a helpful comic to illustrate all the things we as a community would benefit from. These are all things that we discussed over the months in the housing strategy meetings. It simply can't be business as usual or a tinkering around the edges. A housing crisis is just that, it needs fighting like a crisis, with courage, care and creativity. None of these ideas are new, they are simply forgotten. Let's remember and lets fight for what we need. Take some time out of you day to fill in the strategy and let our council know what we need to live better. As Dawn Dublin said - we need solutions which place more power and decision-making in the hands of local people.
